Happy 4th!

I hope everyone is having a great week.  I would like to share a 4th of July card that I made using the Stand and Salute cricut cartridge.  It is a pretty quick and easy card.  Hope you all enjoy!

Baby Room Plaque

Happy Friday and weekend!  I want to share a gift that I made for a friend of mine who is having a baby.  They are going to decorate the baby's room (for a boy) with wildlife so I thought it would be cute to make a name plaque!  Here is what I came up with.  It took me quite awhile to make, but I am very happy with the end product!  Enjoy!

I Love You Pin

I wanted to share a project that I made for some of the other teachers at the school I was at this year.  The school I was at was the school for the deaf and hearing impaired at the end of the year I made these pins as gifts for some of the other teachers.  I can't take credit for this project as I saw it made somewhere else several months ago, but I can't remember which blog I saw it on.

To make the pin, I cut out the hand from My Community cartridge at 6" and the heart at 1" with shrinky dink film.  I then baked the two pieces and curled the two middle fingers down as soon as I took it out of the oven.  I used a hot glue gun to put the heart and hand together and add the pin.  I then made a little card to hold the pin.  I hope that you enjoy!

Wedding Shape card

Here is a quick wedding card that I made using the Wedding Cricut Cartridge and my gypsy.  I am trying to use the gypsy more and figure out all of the features.  I am slowly starting to become a believer of it :)  I also added glossy accent to make the details stand out.  Have a great night!

This week there is a new Throwback Thursday challenge at My Creative Time.  The challenge is to use any Cricut Lite Cartridge and add bling on your project.  I decided to use the Live Simply Cartridge.  I added stickles, glossy accents, glitter paper, and rhinestones to "bling" up my project.  Hope you enjoy, join in the challenge and be sure to check out the other entries here.

Little One Layout

Hello Everyone!  Whew...school is finally over for the summer, and it is time to relax and scrap!  I am so excited to get some projects done, and try some new things!  Here is a quick layout that I made for another teacher who is having her first grandchild this summer!  It is going to be a little baby boy so I chose to use blue and yellow!  Enjoy!
