HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE!  I hope that you all have had a wonderful 2010 and have an even better 2011.  This past year has breezed by faster than ever!  I started blogging for the first time this year, and have had no regrets.  There have been so many wonderful people that I have met along the way :)  I am so thankful for all of your kindness and encouragement, and love all of the inspiration that I get from you!

Here are a few card that I have created with my imagine today. These 2 are made from Lori's Garden Cartridge and I made them to give as a gift set.  I also used pop dots and the i-rock.

This card is made from the Better Together and Mini Monograms Cartridge.  I have fallen in love with this cartridge :)  I am also submitting this for the Cricut Circle Challenge and Paper Playtime Challenge this week.  I also used stickles, pop dots, and the i-rock on top of his hat.

Have a wonderful New Year's Eve everyone!  Stay safe, have fun, and see you in 2011!

CC Inspiration Challenge

Hope everyone is having a wonderful last few days of 2010.  I am a little down to the wire with this one, but the challenge for the cricut circle this week was to make something using this photo as inspiration.
My eye was most drawn to the houses and the bolder colors.  I used my imagine to create this card which draws from that inspiration.  Enjoy the last day of 2010 tomorrow :)

CC December Challenge

Hello everyone!  I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is ready for the New Year :)  Christmas was so fast and busy around here.  I still have a few smaller Christmas celebrations this week with friends and family that I did not see over the weekend, and then things should be back to normal!

Here is a small gift I made for a friend this week.  I am going to fill it with White Chocolate Chex Mix...one of my favorites :)  I bought the tin at Hobby Lobby and then used the Cricut to decorate the top.  It already had an image on top so I used Mini Monograms to cut a circle out of vinyl and cover it up.  I am using this for my entry in this months Cricut Circle Challenge to make a gift.  Hope everyone has a great start to their week!

Enjoy!

ELF

Well, it is officially Winter season around here!  We have gotten about 11" of snow.  Needless to say, I was forced to stay in and had a lot of crafting time on my hands!  I started out making a birthday card for my grandma, but I have fallen in love with this elf from the Jolly Holidays Cartridge.  I decided to make a bulk amount of him and decided that was going to be on my Christmas card for this year.  Here are my versions of my birthday card and Christmas card.  Stay warm and enjoy!

Snowman Trailmix

Happy Wednesday Everyone!  I hope you are all having a great week!  This week for the Cricut Circle challenge, you are to make something that pays respects to your favorite holiday recipe.  One of my favorite recipes is melting white chocolate and pouring it over pretzels, m&ms, cashews, chex mix, etc.  It makes a delicious little trail mix snack that is soooooooo addicting!!!! I made a little container to put some of the snowman mix in and share with others :)

Enjoy!

Glitter Ornaments :)

Hi Everyone!  I feel like I have been away from the blog for a long time with Thanksgiving and being busy with holiday time at school.  This weekend I wanted to make a few gifts.  I have been seeing these glitter ornaments all over the place and wanted to try some.  Here is one that I made.  They are super easy.  Just pour in a little Glitter-It from Beacon Crafts, swirl it around in the ornament, and pour the excess back into the bottle.  Next, pour in a little glitter, swirl that around, and pour out excess.  Let dry and repeat steps as many times as needed to cover any missed spots.  You can then personalize them with a little vinyl!  I used Mini-Monograms to cut out the letter for mine :)  I also added a little ribbon on top for an extra pop of red!  Hope you are all having a fantastic weekend and enjoy!
