Hoppy Birthday!

Here is my last post for today!  I made this card for the My Pink Stamper Design Team call.  The challenge is to make something with orange, turquoise, green, brown, and an optional color using your favorite cartridge.  If you do not know about My Pink Stamper, you can check out the website here.  You will find great inspiration for all levels of crafters :)

My card was inspired from the Creative Imaginations frog paper that I used on the background.  Everything else was cut out with the Create a Critter Cartridge which is my favorite.  I finished my card with the perfect sentiment from My Pink Stamper Buggy Punnies Stamps (not just to be used with bugs!).  I hope you enjoy and have a great rest of your weekend!  Don't forget to check out all of the other amazing entries for the challenge here.

Last of NSD!

Here are my last NSD challenge projects for MPS.  I wanted to get them posted last night, but was too exhausted!  My first project was for the 3D challenge.  We are starting to learn about bugs and insects this week and I thought how cool would it be to start out the day with these awesome "antennae" glasses!!!  The kids thought it was a blast ;-)
Now my last project I am a little partial to because I LOVE these photos.  I am always so behind on my scrapbooking so I decided to make a page with my monkey photos from last summer and bought this frame that works perfect with the lo yesterday at Joanns!  The cuts are from my favorite cart Create a Critter.  I can't wait to hang this on the wall!!!!!!!  Enjoy!

Sweet Baby!

Hello everyone!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  I have not made a scrapbook page in so long, but one of my teaching partners is having a baby boy and I thought it would be fun to make her a lo.  I used the animals from New Arrival to make this simple lo.  I really love how it turned out!  Hope you all have a great night!

Hogs and Kisses

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful week!  I wanted to share another card that I made with the Create a Critter Cartridge last weekend.  My aunt LOVES pigs so I came up with this thank you card for her.  I love the little animals on this cart!  I think that Provo Craft need to make a follow-up to this cart :)  Lol!

Enjoy the rest of your week!

MPS DT Challenge

Happy New Year Everyone!  I hope that you are all having a great start to 2011.  I usually don't make resolutions, but I am making a crafty resolution this year to get some of my stacks of photos scrapped!!  I also got a flip camera for Christmas and hope to make some videos this year.  Do you have any resolutions this year (crafty or not)?

Ok.  Onto the crafts!  Robyn over at My Pink Stamper is having a design team call.  I decided to participate in her challenge which is to make something with your favorite cartridge using her favorite colors which are pink, brown, green, and a color of your choice.  Choosing my favorite cart was easy as I am head over heels in love with Create a Critter.  I choose a cute little turtle and spiced him up with some glitter and embossing.  It is really neat how you can change a cut just by running a piece or two through the cuttlebug.  It gives great texture!  I also spiced up the card with twine from The Twinery and action wobbles which are so neat!!!  I finished the card off with one of Robyn's cute stamps from Even More Punny-licious.  You can check out her stamps here.  Here is what I came up with!  Enjoy!

Poodles of Love!- MPS Challenge Day 2 of Christmas

Happy Monday Everyone!  As promised, here is the other challenge card that I created for the My Pink Stamper Challenges.  This challenge was to make something using 2 shades of pink, 2 shades of blue, and black.  I created this card for my mom's birthday tomorrow :)  I fell in love with the little poodle when I was done!  I think it is so cute!!  I also just got a few of My Pink Stamper Stamps which go perfectly!!  These stamps are great quality and go with everything :)

Have a Crabulous Birthday!

Here's to another weekend :)  I broke down and ordered a gypsy today...hopefully it will be worth the money I do not have, lol!  I had some time today to work on a birthday card for a good friend.  I made it using Create a Critter and the fish are patterned with the Best Friends cart.  I added texture to the sand and water background by crumpling up the papers.  I am really excited how the card turned out.  I made this card using the imagine because that was what was on my crafting table already, but everything can easily be cut with your regular bug and colored/patterned paper.

I am adding this to My Pink Stamper's "Something Cute" Challenge and Emma's Throwback Thursday "Animal" Challenge.

I hope you can all find some time to craft and relax this weekend!  Enjoy!

Hip-Hippo-ray!!!

IT'S FRIDAY!!!  You know what that means....crafting time :)  WOOHOO!!!  I am so excited to play around with the imagine a little bit more and have fun making some other projects!  This afternoon I decided to start off with my Throwback Thursday Challenge for My Creative Time.  You had to make a shape card using Create-a-Critter and use orange.

I have to make a confession that I have never used the Cricut to make a shape card.  I know...*gasp*!  I do not own a gypsy and the design studio and I have just never gotten along.  Today I decided that the expression and I had to try and make peace with the design studio and here was the result.  I am pleased and think that I will have to work on some more shape cards soon :)  Hip-hippo-ray!  The challenge was a success!!!!

Enjoy!

Imagine :)

I hope everyone is having a great week!  My imagine arrived yesterday and I was so excited!!!!  I will still be posting regular cricut projects as well, but here is one of the first projects I created with the imagine :)  I used my favorite Create a Critter!  The scalloped imagine in the back is on the machine, and I filled it in with a pattern from Nursery Tails.  I have not had too much time to mess around with the imagine yet, as I have conferences this week, but I can't wait to explore some more.  I also added a little glitter glue on the flower stems and am going to add it to the My Pink Stamper "Bling it Up" Imagine challenge from last week.  Enjoy!

Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge #35

*NOTE* I am so sorry I totally spaced on the color part of this challenge.  So much going on getting ready for school that I think I just have a super short term memory...I hope for better on the next challenge.*

Whew!  I am trying to stay busy with challenges today to get my creative mind thinking :)  This afternoon I attempted the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge.  I looked at it earlier in the week and passed on it because I just couldn't get my mind going, but today I decided it was calling my name!  I just got my new set of Critter Faces last week and really wanted to try them out.  I made this card for a little girl in my class who brought me a very sweet and thoughtful gift at open house last night.   Enjoy :)

Bubbles and Ribbon

Hello Everyone!  I hope you are having a fabulous day!  The weather is beautiful in WI today :)  This week Paper Playtime has a bubble theme challenge.  You can use bubbles of any kind.  I thought of ocean animals immediately because I was dreaming of vacation.  However, when I came back to reality... this cute little whale worked for me!  It is from Create a Critter.  I then used stickers for the splash and bubbles.  There are some other great creations so far so head over to Paper Playtime and check them out.  I also used this card for the challenge over at Party Time Tuesdays which required a birthday theme this week :)

My other news of the day was I found the GREATEST ribbon box!  It is called the Eyz-Stack Ribbon Rack.  I purchased it from Walmart for $4.50 and it is made by Craft Mates.  It has 17 dividing compartments, that can be adjusted for larger size ribbon by taking out a removable insert.  I LOVE it because the ribbon does not roll itself back up in the compartments with its locking feature and it is at easy access.  It was the bargin of the day, now I am just upset I did not buy more than one :(  Oh well...any excuse for another shopping trip!  lol!
