CC November Challenge

Hello Everyone!  Here are the instructions for this months Cricut Cricle Challenge:

The theme for this month’s challenge is all about cozying up your home with Handmade Home Decor! Please create a home decor project. Project must be newly created for this challenge and should include the following elements to qualify:
•Use atleast one Cricut Cartridge Cut

•Use the Cuttlebug in some way (embossing folder, Cuttlebug die, Quilling kit, etc.)

•Use Felt in some way

•Use the color GREEN somewhere on your project

I decided to make a holiday wreath to hang up in our house.  I loved it so much that I am just finishing up my 4th one to give as a gift :)  This is the first time I have ever made a bow as well...thankfully that process got easier each one I made!  The little snowman in the middle is a gift tag, but you could leave it in the middle for extra decoration :)

Hope you enjoy!

How I Roll...

Can you believe it is the middle of November?  Time is flying by!!!!  I hope that you are all having a great month.  It is report card time around here which is why I have been a little MIA lately.  Hope they are done soon and I can get more crafting done!

Here is a fun card I made with the Imagine this weekend.  I used Imagine More and Best Friends!  I also added some little buttons and am going to add it to the Imagine Nation Monday Challenge.

Enjoy!

CC Ornament

Here is an ornament I made for the Cricut Circle ornament challenge.  The challenge was to make an ornament with 4 cuts on the Cricut and another Provo Craft tool.  I choose to use the Cuttlebug for my other tool.

I really wanted to make something 3D so here is what I came up with!  The snowflakes are all from the When It's Cold Outside cartridge.  I picked my favorite snowflake and cut the black out version twice and the overlay 4 times all at 4".  I then put the overlay on both sides of the blackout version and cut slits up the middle to be able to connect them together.  I used embossing powder to cover the paper and make it a shiny snowflake!!!  I then cut 3 smaller snowflakes from 3/4" to 1.5" and embossed them with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.  They are hanging from the large snowflakes with fishing wire.  I really like the finished product and the look that the embossing I did gave the ornament!  I am officially in the Christmas mood :)

Enjoy!
